Voter Education Campaign - Introduction
In the 2002 Local Elections St Albans City and District Council piloted e-voting in two wards in the city. In Verulam and Sopwell wards voters were not going to be allowed to vote in the traditional manner at a polling booth. Instead they were being given the choice of voting by the internet, by phone, at an electonic kiosk or by post. Gallomanor were commissioned to produce a multi-media campaign to educate and reassure the electorate about the new voting methods. The campaign used video, CD's, print material and a range of branded merchandise to get the message across.
